Sunscreen eventually leaves your skin. Some of it washes off in the ocean, lakes, rivers, showers, and everything connected to them.
That reality matters to us.
Our BODY Sunscreen uses one active UV filter: 20% non-nano zinc oxide, providing broad spectrum SPF 30 mineral protection without chemical UV filters such as oxybenzone or octinoxate.
The rest of the formula is built around nourishing oils, butters, waxes, and botanical ingredients, including sea buckthorn, raspberry seed, karanja, aloe vera, avocado, apricot, sunflower, olive, and shea.
It’s also MADE SAFE® certified, reef-friendly, cruelty-free, and made with organic and wildcrafted botanicals.

What’s inside a product matters. So does what’s left behind when it’s gone.
We think about packaging as another part of the product — not an afterthought.
That means choosing recyclable packaging where possible, reducing unnecessary materials, and shipping salt+blue sunscreen without plastic packaging.
We know there is no perfect package. Materials, recyclability, durability, transportation, and product protection all involve tradeoffs.
Our approach is to keep questioning those tradeoffs, choose more thoughtfully when better options exist, and improve as new materials and systems become available.
Because protecting the places we love requires paying attention to the small things, too.
